Pixel Forge — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what data Pixel Forge (the “app”), developed by Aqib Rasdeen (“I,” “me”; contact: support@aqibrasdeen.com), an independent developer, collects and how it’s used. Pixel Forge is a single-player mobile game — there is no account system, no login, and no cloud storage of your gameplay.

Gameplay data

Your studio’s progress (cash, team, projects, achievements, and everything else you build in-game) is stored entirely on your own device. I never see it, collect it, or transmit it anywhere. If you uninstall the app or switch devices, this data does not transfer, since it was never sent to me in the first place.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Pixel Forge shows optional rewarded video ads (you choose to watch them in exchange for an in-game reward) using Google AdMob. To serve and measure these ads, Google may collect information such as your device’s advertising identifier and general usage data, and may use this information to personalize the ads you see. This data collection is governed by Google’s own privacy policy, not mine:

Depending on your device and region, you may be able to limit ad personalization through your device’s system settings (e.g. “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android).

Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To understand how the game is played and where it can be improved, Pixel Forge uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It records anonymous gameplay events, such as finishing a tutorial step, starting or shipping a game, unlocking an achievement, opening the Shop, watching an optional ad, or starting a purchase. These events never include your studio name, your staff’s names, or anything you type.

Firebase also collects some information automatically: an app-instance identifier, your device model and operating system, the app version, your language, your approximate country (worked out from your IP address; the IP address itself isn’t stored by Google Analytics), and, on Android, your device’s advertising identifier. I only see this data as totals and trends, not as information about you personally. It is processed by Google under its own privacy policy:

If you’re in the EU, the UK or a US state with privacy laws, the consent form shown when you first open the game also covers analytics, and you can change your choice any time in Settings → Privacy Choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device’s settings.

In-app purchases

Pixel Forge offers optional in-app purchases (e.g. removing ads, a cosmetic pass, a currency pack), processed entirely through Google Play’s billing system. I never see or store your payment details (card numbers, billing address, etc.) — that information is handled directly by Google Play. I only learn that a purchase was made and which item was purchased.

What I don’t do

  • I don’t require you to create an account.
  • I don’t collect your name, email, or contacts.
  • I don’t access your location, camera, microphone, or photos.
  • I don’t send your in-game names or anything you type to analytics.
  • I don’t sell your data to anyone.

Children’s privacy

Pixel Forge is not specifically directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any advertising shown is subject to Google AdMob’s own policies for age-appropriate ad serving based on the app’s declared audience in the Google Play Store.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
